- TUKATA has collaborated with the National Gugak Center to develop a character and badge inspired by the traditional Korean musical instrument 'Eo.' The 'Eo' character, developed jointly by TUKATA and the National Gugak Center, has been uniquely designed to familiarize and introduce our traditional musical instrument in a friendly manner. The 'Eo' is an essential instrument used in ceremonial music, taking the form of a tiger with 27 bamboo nodes resembling tiger stripes, played by scraping them with bamboo sticks. Through this collaboration between the National Gugak Center and lifestyle brand TUKATA, we hope to bring new inspiration and joy about Korean traditional music to customers. The National Gugak Center, under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, is the leading national arts institution in Korea, dedicated to preserving traditional Korean arts. Engaging with the public through various performances, academic research, music education, and international exchanges, the center strives to promote Korean traditional music both domestically and globally.

TUKATA가 국립국악원과 협업하여 국악기 ‘어’ 를 모티브로한 캐릭터와 뱃지를 개발했습니다. TUKATA와 국립국악원이 함께 개발한 어 캐릭터는 우리의 국악기를 친근하게 알리고 소개하고자 특별하게 기획되었습니다. 국악기 ‘어’는 제례악을 연주할 때 없어서는 안될 중요한 국악기중 하나인데요, 호랑이 모양의 악기로서 27개의 톱늬모양의 호랑이 등을 대나무 채로 긁어서 연주하는 독특한 악기입니다.
국립국악원과 라이프스타일 브랜드 TUKATA가 선보이는 콜라보레이션으로 고객들에게 국악에 대한 새로운 영감과 즐거움을 선사할 수 있기를 기대합니다. 국립국악원은 한국 전통 예술을 계승하는 대한민국 대표 국립 예술 기관으로 각종 공연을 비롯한 학술 연구, 국악 교육, 해외 교류 등으로 국민과 함께하는 국악, 세계 속의 우리 국악을 추구하고 있는 문화체육관광부 소속기관입니다.
